My short biography: For the last 13 years, I've worked in Los Angeles as a Pipeline TD and Maya generalist. I've used Maya on commercials, music videos, feature films and game cinematics. I'm proficient in Python. I live in Santa Monica.
My artistic experience: For most of my career, I've been a Maya generalist proficient in most aspects of the CG pipeline -- modeling, texturing, layout, shading, lighting, rendering (Vray, Mental Ray), 3d camera tracking, animating, and particle dynamics. I've worked within stereo camera pipelines.
My Pipeline TD experience: I was a Pipeline TD before I knew I was a Pipeline TD. From the beginning of my career as an artist, I solved problems by creating tools for myself and others. No matter where I worked, I was eventually called upon to fix broken scenes or help a colleague with a technical issue. During my work at Prologue, my title was formally realized -- I became the Lead Pipeline TD. My duties included Python coding, Maya scene debugging, artist helpdesk, and implementing Shotgun Toolkit for a new Maya/Nuke/Deadline pipeline.
